Databar UPCE is also known as UPC-E Composite Barcode, UPC-E CC-A (CCA), UPC-E CC-B (CCB), UPC-E Composite A, UPC-E Composite B, UPC-E 2D Composite, UPC-E Composite Component A and UPC-E Composite Component B.
UPC-E is variation of UPC-A which allows more compact barcode by eliminating extra zeros. Since the resulting UPC-E barcode is about half the size as an UPC-A barcode, UPC-E is generally used on products with very small packaging where full UPC-A barcode couldn't reasonably fit. The numbers encoded in UPC-E bar codes are Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN) of GS1 System.

UPC-E Composite is variant that should be used when CC-A or CC-B GS1 Composite 2D component is require. Databar UPC-E is variation of UPC-A. It is used to identify products with small packaging. UPC-E is numeric only symbology and the short version of UPC symbol. UPC-E is generally used on small packing products and is also known as Universal Product Code version E.
Barcode parameters of UPC-E can be adjusted including module width, barcode width, height, rotation, colors etc. UPC-E barcode images may be easily printed with any of the printers, even low resolution printers.
